Οι ουκρανικές δυνάμεις έπληξαν με drones εγκαταστάσεις των ομοσπονδιακών πετρελαϊκών αποθεμάτων της Ρωσίας στην πόλη Ρίμπινσκ, 270 χλμ. βόρεια της Μόσχας δήλωσε την Τετάρτη αξιωματούχος της ουκρανικής υπηρεσίας εσωτερικής ασφάλειας SBU.
Σε ανακοίνωσή του, ο αξιωματούχος ανέφερε ότι η επίθεση στην εγκατάσταση, την οποία η SBU χαρακτηρίζει ως βασικό κόμβο εφοδιασμού για καύσιμα, προκάλεσε μεγάλη πυρκαγιά.

Ουκρανικές πηγές αναφέρουν ότι οι εγκαταστάσεις πετρελαίου αποτελούν μέρος του συστήματος Rosrezerv που εντάσσεται στο σύστημα κρατικών αποθεμάτων της ρωσικής ομοσπονδίας.
