Η ιρανική αεράμυνα εντόπισε F-15 κοντά στα στενά του Ορμούζ.
Σύμφωνα με ιρανικές πηγές, εκτοξεύτηκαν δύο πύραυλοι εναντίον του μαχητικού.
Το F-15 κατάφερε να ξεφύγει κάνοντας χρήση αντιμέτρων.
Οι ιρανοί ισχυρίζονται ότι χτύπησαν το μαχητικό αλλά κάτι τέτοιο δεν επιβεβαιώνεται από το βίντεο.
Πάντως,επιβεβαιώνεται πως δεν έχει υπάρξει καταστολή της ιρανικής αεράμυνας σε απόλυτο βαθμό.
